Who should take this course?

This course is designed for management professionals who are responsible for all management related to the ACMs. An example of a professional that would attend this course would be a building manager, site manager, asbestos manager, etc.

Aim of the course

Due to laws changing in 1999, all Asbestos importation, supply, and use is banned in the UK. But for buildings that were built before 1999, that still contain Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs), if any work is needed to be done, and there is a risk the asbestos fibres will be disturbed, steps need to be taken and the ACMs need to be managed effectively and safely.

Due to the risk that disturbed Asbestos fibres can cause, this 5-day course (4 days tuition, 1-day exams) is designed to teach the delegates about the risks attached with ACMs and overall how to ensure they are managed correctly using the correct tools. The course will also touch on how to overcome the issues presented with ACMs using practical cases.
